The text that follows reads, "Community-University Talks (C-Uni-T) and our co-sponsors are marking the occasion by welcoming Black writers and artists to Montreal for a Congress of Black Writers and Artists. The theme of the 2013 Congress, \'Create Dangerously\' is inspired by Haitian-American writer Edwidge Danticat\'s Create Dangerously: The Immigratnt Artist at Work (Princetown University Press, 2010). Danticat took her title from the last public lecture given by Albert Camus, \'Create Dangerously,\' in which Camus declared, \'For the person with creative potential there is no whole except in using it." There is a French translation of this text also on the page. Below this introductory message, there is more text that further describes the inspiration for the theme for 2013 Congress: Edwidge Danticat. On the second page, the right-side of the image, is more text orientating readers to the purpose and aims of the year\'s Congress in connection with the 1968 Congress of Black Writers. There is also a small image of the 1968 Congress banner in greyscale, which features a figure with arms raised and fingers grasping a fence.
